I will give you the recipe for making this from scratch later, but here is one with ingredients you will probably have available;-)
For the other one you need an extensive herb garden.
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion chopped
2 cloves garlic squashed – Put the garlic clove on a board with your widest knife on top – flat:-) Hit it quite hard to squash the garlic, then just cut it a bit for the thought
2 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons peanut butter
1 cup water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons curry powder
3 teaspoons sweet chillie sauce
Heat a saucepan, add oil and fry the onion and garlic, until the onion is soft
Add the remaining ingredients and stir to mix. Leave over low heat and stir from time to time until the sauce thickens.
You can prepare the sauce a day or two before to give the flavours time to marry. Warm before serving if you prefer.
Can be successfully frozen.
